Child Care Sun Safety Evaluation Report, South Dakota Comprehensive Cancer Control Program
SLM Consulting helped the South Dakota Comprehensive Cancer Control Program address skin cancer prevention through policy, systems, and environment changes. We helped developed and implement a multi-faceted, evidence-based approach to helping child care facilities to develop sun safety policies, implement strategies to support those policies, and provide ongoing technical assistance to support implementation efforts. To date, we have supported 30 child care facilities across the state to improve sun safety practices, reducing staff and children's risk for skin cancer. Learn more >
